We were asked to encourage tourism to the Danish city of Viborg, so we opened an art gallery in the old city hall. We curated an opening exhibition of newly commissioned work, all inspired by the city’s history. The space went on to become a community hub, hosting artist talks and workshops. Viborg was subsequently awarded UNESCO Creative City status.

To promote it, local artist Sviatchenko transformed the city itself into a gallery by wrapping buildings and covering shops with vinyl designs that we cut into so they interacted with the window displays.
